Printing...

Flexography - In 1964 Lewis Label Products opened its doors for business by entering the Flexographic printing field. Flexography allows us to print packaging and product identification labels on continuous rolls or sheets, in small to exceptional large quantities. Printing from rolls of materials with fast drying liquid inks makes flexography a high speed process, giving us the ability to produce millions of pressure sensitive labels, tags, and other markings quickly and economically. Conventional water base inks and new technology U.V. inks are available.

Screen Printing - Screen printing became a part of Lewis Label Products' capability for the manufacture of such items as decals, bumper stickers, posters, and polycarbonate components. This process allows us to lay down a greater amount of paint or ink on the material surface to produce a product that has a long life and a durable, high quality finish.

Hot Stamp - Many customers choose our Hot Stamp printing capability to add that extra quality touch to their product. Hot Stamp printing is very durable and can be done in a wide variety of colors and metallic finishes on many kinds of materials. Markings such as numbered parking premits, nameplates, wine, beverage, and cosmetic labels are common examples of Hot Stamp printing.

Rotary Letterpress - This process employs a very hard printing plate and a paste ink that is cured with a very hight output of UV light. Rotary Letterpress printing gives us the ability to print the very best in four-color process and other multi-color work in continuous roll or sheet form. A UV varnish can be added over the printing to give added protection and gloss at the same time the product is being printed. Retail products such as foods, pharmaceutical items, toys and children's stickers are examples where Rotary Letterpress labels are presently being used.
